My name is Nikita Batlis and im a 15 year old photographer. I have been doing photography for almost 2 years now and Im completely self-taught

I use the Nikon D80 along with an 18-135ml lens. I edit all my photos in Photoshop cs2.

I express myself through photography since i struggle to though words.
Many of my self portraits reflect on how im feeling or experiences i've had.

What I am Now is a lot different from Hold Light's Stare, despite the similar use of contrast. The eye in WIAN draws focus and adds colored texture in otherwise plain white, making it a lot more striking than otherwise so. There's a triangle formed between the eye, the cig and the nonblackspace of lower left. It feels like a hybrid of a landscape/establishing shot and portrait despite being fully at extreme closeup. However HLS has a barebones almost bleached intensity of its own. Well done. Was that also done with the D80?
